EmberClad was created to develop and eventually maintain a leading position in esports apparel. While the brand is still under development, I felt comfortable enough to showcase the current elements that have been shown publicly.

As with many of my projects, I started off by creating thumbnail sketches, exploring a variety of elements that could be used as the brand’s logo. The idea was that, like items forged with fire, our apparel stands the test of time, is battle ready, and will intimidate the competition. While the goal is to make our own marketing bright and distinct, when it comes to our customer’s apparel, we don’t want to take away from their brand. That is why in the end, we went with a simple logo that can work in one color that will blend in with our customer’s brand colors while still representing us.
We needed our own jerseys as well in order to represent our brand. I utilized a scale-like pattern that glows in and out, like a dragon standing over a flame. Utilizing similar triangular flames in our logo, I created a silhouette coming from the bottom of the jersey, as I still didn’t want it to be too flashy.
