I started by creating digital thumbnail sketches of the concept. I wanted to see the ideas in a higher fidelity, so I explored various elements and eventually narrowed them down. The focus was to keep the design simple enough that a student of any age could draw it, while referencing our core beliefs of education and environmental sustainability.

I wanted the design system to reflect our bold message. To do this, I chose colors that were reminiscent of the natural world, but were also more energetic. The overall design is simple, yet effective, and it accurately reflects the non-profit’s mission and values.

I am still in the development process of this project, but I am excited to continue building it out.
